Nicki Minaj recently performed in Connecticut and after the show she was interviewed backstage. First, Nicki talked about her fashion style and her female fan feedback, saying she did not expect her fans to like her as much as they do.
Minaj then talked about her upcoming debut album saying she is trying to take her time working on it but it's coming out "really really good" and she's "having a blast" doing it. Nicki says the album "maybe" half way done and she doesn't think she will have a problem getting features for her tracks. Nicki then talks about "Catch Me," which was produced by Swizz Beatz and has a "little singing, little rapping." The "moody, mellow futuristic" beat puts you in the "get high" mood, although Nicki says she never has gotten high.
Despite being hit up by Lil Kim recently, Nicki says she "lend" herself to negativity and tries to just have fun and live her life.
